CROSS CULTURAL AD FOR OREO COOKIES
The idea was to use the cookie as the moon and treat it how people in different countries do during their festivals.
In india during karva chauth how the women fast from sunrise to moonrise for the safety and longevity of their husbands and break their fasts only after a glance of the moon.
In china during the mid autumn festival where they eat mooncakes and gaze at the moon. They place a basin of clear water in the courtyard to reflect an image of the moon, and then beat the water surface with branches.
Pakistan, The islamic calender is based on the lunar cycle. In the beginning of each month is determined when the new moon is seen. Eid is seen as a time of beginning, and so the cresent moon carries with it the innocent pleasure of a fresh start.

ADVERTISING
FABER CASTELL
TRUE COLORS CAMPAIGN
An ad recreated for Faber castell- True colors Campaign
The idea behind using the humming bird and flower in the ad is to show how the flower gives life to the bird (the bird survives on the nectar from the flower) the similar way the Faber Castell color pencils can give life to the drawing, and make the picture come into life.
And the idea behind leaving half of the flower sketch uncolored is to show the “TRUE COLOR” by making it look like the colors are flowing right from the bird and getting filled up and completing the sketch.
